The main difference between photography and art is that it'll take you ages to get a still of that gorgeous chic over there with art !!! By the time you've set up your canvas and paints she would have gone home, changed and got up for work the next day !!!!!!!?!?!!?!?!?!?!
Photography grabs that moment that you'll never see again, that is of course if you've got the lens cap off ??!!
There was a time when you could only get top quality photos with the likes of Bronica, Hasselblad and the rest, and don't get me wrong, they still are top of the bunch for quality and professionalism. But now with all the other technology-packed cameras and camcorders that are out there even the likes of you and me can get superb quality photos and video capture with very little, if any experience.
The digital cameras for example, although they're the point and shoot type, they do give you extraordinary results. The good old SLR cameras still have their place of course, but just about anyone today can get superb results with their digital camera and they don't cost up to £1,000 or more like the top of the range ones do.
If you think you can't afford that camera or camcorder for those special moments then think again. Take a look at this site - it's got loads of choice and has massive savings with the best prices. Here it is:

Hope you like it and find what you're looking for - everything is there so you should be ok and snapping and shooting soon.
